CHIC PLAYROOM MAKEOVER || FAIRYTALE THEMED

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Birch Lane for purpose of review but all opinions stated are my own and not influenced in any way.

Ever since Keatyn started Kindergarten she has needed a space to do her school work away from the distractions of family and tv. This desk is perfect for her to do her school work and comes with a hutch if needed. The victorian detail blends effortlessly with her new chic playroom makeover.

Can we also talk about this gorgeous  unicorn head on the wall. She loves unicorns and secretly so do I. It works so well with our fairytale themed room. It’s such a statement piece and the glitter gold horn is the perfect touch. We also found THIS framed unicorn silhouette that’s the perfect addition. As far as her book storage goes, we got that forever ago but here is another great option with hooks. I don’t know about you guys but we accrue sooooo many books it’s crazy. One of Keatyn’s favorite things to do is read with daddy at night and she doesn’t stop at one book. She will negotiate at least 3. Birch Lane has been my one stop shop for her playroom makeover. They have such great quality items at reasonable prices.

I’ve been wanting to re-do her playroom for a while because it was just so junky and cluttered. My mother in law and I filtered out the toys she no longer plays with to declutter. We wanted the room to be open so if we do decide to put some of Charlie’s toys in the toy room, she will have a little more room to roam. I also wanted to invest in some quality pieces to transform the room.

Ok this little girl loves her costumes. She has been playing dress up since she was two. Anything from a monster, princess, Doc McStuffins to a dinosaur, she loves it all. Her imagination cracks me up and makes me so proud. She has such a brilliant mind. She just got two new dress up costumes from Little Adventures and you can get 15% off with my code NT15% until 10/7/17. Her favorites are Moana and Belle’s day time dress.

We got this Teamson Kids dress up station to store all of gowns, crowns, capes, wands, shoes and any other dress-up duds. It also features hooks to hang jewelry or what not, a clothing rod and a full length mirror. I think you can tell she has already made it her own. I love how multi-functional it is for all of her dress up stuff. Birch Lane Kids is a children section of Birch Lane stocking children’s decor from anything to rugs, decor, lighting and furniture, etc.

I’m sure you mamas know but you can never have enough storage. It’s a major upside if it’s cute also. I found this gold shelf that I’m currently storing her knick knacks on until Charlie starts using the toy room. Then I plan to move it in my kitchen or bathroom because it’s so pretty.

I’m so pleased with how her toy room turned out even though I’m sure when Charlie moves in, it’ll be a hot mess. Trust me and clutter your kid’s toys. We got rid of so much stuff she didn’t need and now it feels so clean.

Keatyn is rocking her Chaser Kids gear. Like momma, like daughter. I love her wide variety of style. I love to wear so many different trends, I’m glad she does too. The detail in the leggings are my favorite part. Ps. Charlie’s bib is from Copper Pearl. So cute right?! Also, I found these curtains and absolutely fell in love with the detail. Plus they came in panels of two and were very reasonably priced.

Ahhh I’m so happy to finally share this makeover. Nothing makes me happier than making my kids happy. I love seeing the look on her face when she got all of the things for her new toy room. I hope you guys love the fairytale theme as much as I do. Life itself the most wonderful fairytale of all.
