Is it even Christmas without holiday jammies? If you’re like me and wanna be basic, chances are you have matching jammies for the family. Or if you don’t wanna match I have rounded up my favorite holiday jammies for the ladies and kids. I even threw in a couple cute ones for the fellas (if they’ll wear them). Do you guys have a family pj tradition? We love getting in our matching pjs throughout the holiday season. Well the kids and I do, the husband not so much.
We recycle through the previous years then add in a new pair each year. It’s so fun to pick them out. If your family doesn’t wear matching pajamas, this might be the year to start. We love to curl up and watch Christmas movies every year in our cozy jammies. We take photos, make Christmas cookies, drink hot chocolate and drink sparkling juice (wine for mommy) It’s making beautiful memories we carry with us year after year. Since the holidays are all about traditions, this has became one of ours.
So with a busy few weeks of holiday parties, there’s also a lot of downtime since work is slower than usual. (Unless you’re in retail) Holiday parties are glam and I enjoy them hut there’s nothing like cuddling on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket with the fam or by yourself for that matter. It’s my favorite part of Christmas to put on our jammies when family is in town and binge watch Christmas movies with the kids, substituting wine for hot chocolate when the kids go to bed. We love to watch Family Stone, Elf and of course Christmas Family Vacation. Home Alone has become a McClellan staple since I was a child too. What are your favorite Christmas movies?
